Dec. 9 will be a big night for Barbara Walters on ABC. She will offer back-to-back specials, starting at 9 p.m. The first will focus on Oprah Winfrey before she starts her cable network, OWN, in January. “Oprah, The Next Chapter” also looks at memorable moments in the history of Lady O’s talk show, which is in its final season. The second special, at 10, will be Walters’ annual “10 Most Fascinating People of 2010.” This will be the 18th year that Walters has presented the special. Will the Chilean miners make the cut?
Look for Walters to do a bang-up job of promoting both specials on “The View.”
