Steve Harvey gives it to Us Straight in New Book

We hear that On Dec. 7th Har­vey will release his lat­est rela­tion­ship book titled “Straight Talk, No Chaser,” which is being billed as the sequel to the comedian’s New York Best­seller “Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man.”“I go so deep into the mind­set of men, and how we oper­ate and func­tion, and I give women real things that they can do, to help in their rela­tion­ship,” Harvey told BlackVoices.com. “You know, look man, men are not bad peo­ple. But women think we’re bad because they don’t get us at all. We’re very, very sim­ple. We all think alike. We all basi­cally think alike when it comes down to com­mit­ment, love, rela­tion­ships, money, sex, what­ever it is. We all about basi­cally think the same.”

Already caus­ing a buzz thanks to his very popular radio show, Publisher’s Weekly says the book is “a thor­ough, witty guide to the mod­ern man.”

“Women have this odd notion that we should think like them. I help them get beyond that. I’ve got a chap­ter in a book, I’ve got chap­ters in this book, that deal with this sub­ject mat­ter, whether you’re inde­pen­dent and strong, but lonely. I don’t care if you’ve been cheated on, I don’t care if you have a rela­tion­ship with a guy who won’t com­mit to you, I don’t care if your guy labels you as a nag­ger. Why are you always nag­ging?
